About Somerset Farm

Somerset Farm is a family-run horse farm providing full care pasture equine retirement boarding services in Summerfield, Florida. With over 25+ years experience in the equine industry and being horse owners ourselves, you can trust us to genuinely care for your horse's well-being.

We designed Somerset Farm to provide ample space for your horse while maximizing their safety and well-being, especially in their retirement years. We offer affordable boarding packages to best suit your horse's needs.
The Somerset Difference
Large equine retirement boarding facilities can have a difficult time providing attentive, specialized care for each horse. At Somerset Farm, we designed our program to prioritize every horse so that no detail goes unnoticed. Here are a few ways that our facility stands out from the rest.

Small Herd Sizes
Small herd sizes make for happier horses with a lesser chance of fighting between herd mates to establish hierarchy. This allows your horse to have companionship with other horses without the stress of maintaining their position in a large herd.
Low Total Number of Horses
We are a small, family-run facility which allows us to take better care of your horse. We never have more than six horses on property which grants us the ability to provide specialized care where no horse goes unnoticed.
Affordable Retirement Options
We aren't a one-size-fits-all boarding facility. We offer multiple boarding options and packages to best suit each horse's needs and different budgets.

Meet Our Team
Somerset Farm is owned and operated by the Carrola family who have over 25+ years experience in the equine industry.

Breigh Carrola - Owner & Manager
Breigh Carrola has dedicated more than 25 years to the care, training, and well-being of horses. She began riding at the age of six years old and started working professionally at the age of 17. Since then, Breigh has added groom, rider, equine veterinary technician, and horse farm manager to her resume.
In 2023, Breigh began offering boarding services at Somerset Farm so her horse, Conan, would have companions after Breigh's other horse passed away suddenly. Breigh greatly enjoys caring for the horses day-to-day and operating the farm alongside her husband, Austin, their children, Axel and Bryleigh, and their dogs, Ellie and Zander.

Austin Carrola - Farm Assistant
Austin Carrola had zero horse experience before meeting his wife, Breigh, in 2016. Since then, Breigh has taught him much of what she knows regarding basic horsemanship. Austin occasionally assists Breigh with daily operations. He spends the majority of his time on the farm maintaining the property and helping Breigh to keep operations running smoothly.

Axel & Bryleigh - Farm Supervisors
Axel and Bryleigh have been assisting Breigh with the daily operations of the farm since birth! They keep a close eye on their mom to make sure she's doing a good job with the horses.
Come meet us at the farm.
